hi everyone!  hope you're having a scrap happy weekend!   :)   here is another layout i designed for the scrappin' table!  i love this jillibean soup paper!!!   :)   i especially LOVE cold water & chicken broth!!!   :)  

 

finally...a new layout! :)

on sunday, gary and i went to the jim brickman concert at the grove in anaheim!   :)   as usual, it was awesome!   :)   here we are stopping by the KOST 103.5 booth for some freebies before going in.   :)  they took our picture & i actually got this one off the Kost 103.5 website!   :)

i think i'll answer some email questions in this post...so, here it goes!  :)

1} orange county is in southern california. we are about 20 minutes north/east of disneyland.

2} matthew just turned 5 and will start kindergarten in the fall.

3} yes, i hope to scrap at the store when he's in school. :)

4} yes, the maui prince resort is super duper nice! especially if you like seclusion. we LOVE it there!  :) 

5} yes, i use ScrapbookPictures.com. it's nice for the non-traditional, but common sizes that scrappers love to use! :)

6} if i'm not shopping at "the scrappin' table," i usually shop online. but, even if i wasn't a designer for tst, i'd still shop there...especially since michelle does a great job keeping up with all the latest & greatest! :)

7} yes, another product review and RAK is definitely coming soon!!! :)

8} yes, we have annual passes to disneyland...and a few other local attractions like the LA zoo, discovery science center, the santa ana zoo...etc...

9} i haven't set up my scrap room yet. i'm thinking about how to create a nice space to scrap in...we have 5 bedrooms, so i could easily dedicate one of them to making my own little scrapbook heaven...but i may make the office do double duty and scrap in there...not sure yet...i just want to organize all my stuff in one area so it's convenient, efficient and, of course, pretty!  :)

10} my b-day is on feb. 16. :)

11} yes, we kept our placentia house...LOVE that house! :) we just kind of outgrew it and wanted to buy another one since it's such a great time to buy right now! :)

12} yes, you're right! we got an awesome deal! :) without going into specifics, the previous owners paid 7 figures...yup, a cool mil...in early 2006...and we didn't! :)  yeah for us!!!  :)  lol!  :)

13} ok.  sooooooo many ?'s about all the details of the house.  i'll do my best!  our "new" house was built in 2001.  it has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in a little over 3000+ sq. ft.  i love that it's located at the end of the cul-de-sac on an over 16,100+ sq. ft. lot.  sorry i can't answer all the house ?'s...like someone wanted to know the size of our 3-car garage....hmmmmmm...i don't know???  :)  or how many windows we have???  or if we have granite counters in the kitchen and how much they cost???  yes, we do have granite counters, but i don't know how much they cost.

14} sorry, i don't want to post the specific city or address of our new home on here...but, as you know, we are in orange county, CA  :)  i really appreciate so many of you wanting to send a housewarming gift...but it's totlally unnecessary.  :)  i have some of the most thoughtful blog readers out there!!!  :)  i have "new address" cards on order, so, if i have your address, you may be getting one in the near future! :)

15} yes, our realtor was fantastic! :) LOVE her! :) anyone out there buying or selling in the OC???

16} looked online for over a year on several sites. we visited about 10-20 homes before we found the one we LOVE! :)  we walked in and we knew this was the one!  :)

17} matthew's lizard is a leopard gecko and he named her Lzie... :)  Lzie the Lizard.  :)

whew!  :)  welp, i think that's about all for now...hope i answered most of the ?'s...if not, feel free to ask again! :)   i'll be posting more layouts soon...just turned in a few to the scrappin' table this weekend. :)

Our New Home!

 

here it is...the best birthday present ever...our new Home Sweet Home!!!   :)  this is why i have neglected my blog lately.  we've been so busy, busy, busy with inspecting this and signing that...and now, it's finally over!  today we got the keys and it's sooooooooo exciting!!!   :)   the down side is that my scrappy supplies are all packed up waiting to fill up my new craft room.  so, no new layouts to show you.  luckily, michelle has been super understanding and has let me slide on my design team duties for the scrappin' table...thanks again, michelle!!!   :)

it's a gecko and her name is Lizzy!   :)   she loves eating crickets dusted with calcium powder!  :)  yum!  :)

wow!  i can't believe how long it has been since my last post!  thank you so much for all of your many, many concerned emails!  :)  i'm fine and hangin' in there!   :)   there has been so much going on i haven't had much time to play online.  i'll share some life happenings in some future entries...but for now, before i forget, i wanted to say "hi" to jayne in utah and let her know that i mailed a little surprise package to her today!  :)  thanks so much for your patience and understanding!   :) 

let's see...what else...OH!  during the holidays, scrapbook royalty had their 12 days of christmas giveaways and guess what???  i was the winner of day eight!  :)   thanks again, jennifer and all the the SBR girls!!!   :)   here is a picture of my wonderful prize package...
