here's a new layout i made for my aunt & uncle in hawaii. :) as soon as i saw this picture of them, i knew i wanted to use the manhattan line by autumn leaves since all the colors blend so well together. :) hope they like it! :)
i also added transparent embellishments {letters, heart & arrow} from fancy pants and stapled a grungeboard key that i altered using the silver tim holtz metallic mixative. :)

i'm still working on the next product review...with another awesome RAK to give away!!! :) coming soon...
i've made a lot of altered notebooks lately...i don't have pictures of all of them, but here are just a few i thought i'd share. :)
the products used to make these include bazzill cardstock, prima flowers, thickers, grunge board flourishes, adirondack paint dabbers, stickles, a bunch of assorted yellow, pink, purple & red buttons, embroidery thread and some rhinestone bling. for adhesive, i used ranger glossy accents, craft glue dots & tombow mono dots adhesive. :) shrink charms make a nice finishing touch. :) for these i used a "bee happy" charm, a "dream big" charm & a hand drawwn "grandma" charm and hung each of them on a tim holtz swivel clasp. :)
hi everyone! :) here are some embellies that matthew & i made using clear stamps, slick writers, stazon ink pads & shrink plastic in black, white, clear & opaque! :) i used a variety of clear stamps including a new "dream big" clear stamp {i love it!} to make a whole bunch of charms...i also made a lot of the "bee happy" charms & some tiny flowers that i'll probably use on a few cards. :)
i decided to pierce the scallops & add a few extra embellies...so much better now...
do you remember making shrinky dinks years ago? who knew they'd come back in the scrapbooking world in the form of custom embellishments?! they are so addicting! :) matthew & i played for hours...yes, hours...stamping, drawing & then shrinking scallops, circles & squares!!! :) giga punches work great as a 3" circle ends up being about the size of a quarter. i made the "woof" charm {up there in donna's layout} by stamping the word "woof" on a 3" scallop, then i punched a few bones with my new dog bone punch! :) {thanks, marion!} :) fyi, i would've posted a few pictures of the charms matthew & i made, but typepad is being a little difficult right now...
hi everyone! :) just thought i would share a new 12x12 layout i designed for my friend, donna! :) i'm gonna give it to her in this shadowbox for her b-day! :) she has the cutest tiny little boston pup named izzy! :) i also made her a simple 4-inch circular "brag book" type mini album that has even more cute pictures of izzy in it! :) {hope she doesn't read my blog before i see her! LOL!} :)
